Hope X

The Why…

Green Hills is a place where families are truly heard. We recognize the increasing number of tragedies that have led to the loss of some who may not have felt heard, suffered from loneliness and ultimately lost hope. The message of “we hear you,” has never felt as urgent as it does today.

The holidays for most bring joy, traditions, and encouragement in the turn of a new season. However, for some, it can also bring reminders of lost traditions, feeling alone, and increased depression.

So how can we help others– and even ourselves– approach these struggles? How can we allow others to feel heard amidst the distractions, planning, and rush that sweeps us away from those who need our presence most?

Hope.

Definition: /hōp/ noun
  • A feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
  • A person or thing that may help or save someone.
  • Grounds for believing that something good may happen.
We believe that Hope is often gained by giving it.

Green Hills wishes to encourage our local community to be the Hope others need this season.

We’ve collaborated with others to come up with creative ideas and practical ways to give hope. We are asking the community to share any encouraging ideas or stories of how you look to spread Hope.
