BACKGROUND

A Southern California native, Sharon was born in San Diego and soon after moved to Rolling Hills Estates where she fondly recalls riding horses to school and spending summers at the beach. She attended Miraleste High School while simultaneously carrying a college curriculum at Harbor College.

Sharon has been married to her husband for 30 years and resides in Torrance. They have raised two wonderful daughters; the oldest began a career with Green Hills after obtaining her college degree and her youngest is currently studying Veterinary and Conversation Medicine. She anxiously awaits her first grandchild in August, 2018!

Sharon had an extensive career in banking with over 25 years of experience; last holding the position of Senior Vice President. Combining this experience with Green Hills makes for her to be a valued and trusted advisor.

THE GREEN HILLS COMMUNITY
In Sharon’s 10+ years with Green Hills, she has honorably served over 3,000 families. She has earned the highest level of achievement winning the Circle of Excellence award each year since its inception. Her ability to combine a caring and personal approach affords families the knowledge necessary to make responsible decisions with their advanced planning.

Sharon understands the most important objective when meeting with a family is to provide them comfort so they leave at peace knowing their loved one is in the best care. Her personal experience of losing her mother was the most stressful time in her life. She has made it a goal to educate others on how to avoid the pressures placed upon them at this challenging time.

OFF THE CLOCK
Sharon’s reach goes beyond the community, volunteering as a judge for The International Cat Association (TICA). Her passion for felines has her traveling all over the world, most recently to Russia and Australia. She founded TICA’s Junior Exhibitor Program which teaches children about responsible animal care and sportsmanship. In addition, she is the Chairperson of the Board of Managers with the Torrance South Bay YMCA and recipient of their Service Above Self award. As time permits, Sharon is a Hospice volunteer at Torrance Memorial Hospital and oversees two annual SoCalROC scholarships she established.

When Sharon awards herself with personal time, she prefers to find a location near the ocean and soak up the sun’s warmth. Her extensive Bucket List maintains as her biggest motivation.
