Bonnie has been a South Bay resident her entire life. Although born in Washington D.C., she was raised in Torrance and has called Redondo Beach home for over 30 years. She's a graduate and proud alumnus of North Torrance High School.

Bonnie and her husband share 1 daughter, 2 step-sons, 2 grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. She enjoys family time, especially those opportunities her grandkids.

Bonnie completed such courses as, International Banking, Fraud Prevention, History of FDIC and Lending, at the Institution of Banking after high school. This led to a 30 year career in banking with her last position held being Vice President of Business Development. The bank specialized in lending and banking to the healthcare industry. With the position requiring a lot of travel, she was excited about a position with Green Hills and working close to home.

Bonnie's experience also includes 25 years as a property manager, 10+ years as a part time Real Estate agent and selling Life Insurance and Annuities. All of this has contributed to her ability to build trusting relationships with those she works with today.

With 15+ years with Green Hills, Bonnie enjoys most working with people in general and making a difference in their lives. The annual Memorial Day Observance is her favorite and most memorable event. She appreciates the commitment so many made so that we can have the freedoms have today.

The loss of her sister to Non-Smokers Lung Cancer in 2000 was Bonnie's first introduction to the concept of advanced planning. She was inspired to further educate herself on the many options available and how different people cope with a loss. Meeting with Green Hills' representatives during this process impressed her to the point she was intrigued to seek a position with the company for herself. Bonnie wanted to serve families with the same integrity and compassion as those who preceded her for many years. She's motivated to continue the leadership role of Green Hills within our community.

As a Rotarian, Bonnie volunteers on the local and international level. Through Rotary, she supports all endeavors set forth, including Ring the Bell for the Salvation Army during the holidays, fundraising for college scholarships, partnering with Payless Shoes for Project Shoe for those in need, raising funds to buy wheelchairs that are sent to Mexico and assisting with collecting necessary resources during catastrophes.

Bonnie is longtime fan of USC, most noted with the name of her dog "Troy". You can be assured chants of Fight On can be heard during the fall football season.

A bucket list item checked was her trip to New Zealand where she describes the country to be filled with breathtaking beauty. Next on the list is to visit the Mediterranean, most particularly the Greek Isles.
